Privacy notice

How Our Mortgage Broker Limited collects, uses and protects your personal data, including information you give us through this website.

Who we are

Our Mortgage Broker Limited (23 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London W1J 6HE; company number 11358646) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@ourmortgagebroker.co.uk or 0203 971 1234.

What we collect on this website

  • Enquiry and call-back forms: your name, email, telephone number, the type of help you need and anything you choose to tell us.
  • Guide downloads: your name, email and telephone number, your area of interest and whether you'd like to receive our newsletter.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser details, used to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
  • Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies.

How we use it and our lawful basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and send the guides you request (steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients). We will contact you by phone or email about your enquiry. We only send marketing such as the OMB Property Digest if you tick the box to opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Our website host and our email provider (Brevo, Sendinblue SAS) process data on our behalf to deliver emails. If you go on to receive advice, we share information with lenders, insurers and other parties as explained in our full privacy notice. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries that do not lead to advice are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. If you become a client, your records are kept for at least six years after our advice or service, and longer where our regulators require it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
